At Balmanno, every thread starts with purpose. We transform recycled waste like plastic bottles and cotton offcuts into premium activewear fabrics that are engineered to move, breathe, and last.
It all starts with waste: plastic bottles and cotton offcuts, once destined for landfill.
Each Balmanno garment begins with purpose. We collect discarded plastic bottles from landfills and ocean-bound waste. These are cleaned, shredded into flakes, and melted into raw pellets, the first step in transforming waste into something worth wearing.
Those pellets are spun into ultra-fine performance yarn, engineered for breathability, stretch, and strength. The yarn is then woven into our signature ReForm Fabrics, soft against the skin, tough against wear, and made to move with you.
For our recovery and lifestyle pieces, we use ReForm Cotton, our recycled cotton fabric made from production offcuts. It reduces textile waste while delivering the same Balmanno quality and comfort.
This entire process exists for one reason, to give you activewear that performs without costing the planet.
