These are pricey, yes, but so were my last brand. I bought my last brand about 7 years ago and they’re still going strong. When I wanted more and discovered that they closed down around Covid times, I was gutted. As algorithms go, Balmanno then found its way to my socials feeds and I ignored and ignored until eventually I gave in and went to the site. New Zealand company was a major plus for me. Waiting for pre-order made me nervous, but I received email updates so didn’t feel ghosted, and finally they arrived. I loved the eco-friendly packaging, but when I pulled them out of the box I was drawn to the beautifully soft fabric. Expecting them to be not as good as my well-loved brand, I was right… they’re absolutely better!! As a comfort wearer rather than an athletic one, the key positives for me are absolute comfort, lack of roll down, well proportioned pockets, squat proof (I work with children and they don’t need to know the colour of my underwear!), AND they’re not tight at the ankle! I cannot recommend them enough, except to say I should have taken the two pairs for $199 deal… I didn’t think it was worth the financial risk. I was wrong. I need another! Just do it. Trust the sizing chart. You won’t regret it.
All the hype is true. The waitband does not move. Its great.
The legs are not super fitted like some of my other leggings, but these ones are so super comfortable and are great for my hiit workouts
Lovely fabric and a great fit. Good length and I’m 5’11”. The pockets are deep too and the waistband stays put. Really happy with them.
No false advertising here, the product is exactly how they described it. I like the feel of the material and the securty of the hold, becaude it holds all this curvaceousness nicely. Will be ordering another pair real soon. Nā mihi.

Super happy with both the full length and 7/8 ths Leggings. I've been wearing them full time as soooo comfortable and really don't slip down. I have four pairs now.
I recently bought a pair of bike shorts, and I couldn't be happier with them. They are incredibly comfortable and fit really well. One of the things I love most is that they don't fall down or need constant adjusting when I'm running, on the bike or working out at the gym, they stay exactly where they should.
The main reason I chose Balmanno was that it's a New Zealand brand. I love supporting local businesses, and it's even better when the quality lives up to expectations.

This is my 2nd time purchasing Balmanno leggings. I only needed a new pair since I changed sizes. I have been really happy with the leggings, great stretch, great support, great feel of the fabric, handy pockets. My 1st pair were 4xl, which fit wonderfully, didnt roll down even though the widest part of me was my stomach. Since loosing some weight I have purchased an XL and they fit great too. The sizing chart was spot on and im happy to be wearing well fitted leggings again.
